Hey, in the UK a very important day is
approaching, Mother’s Day! This means that we need to get ready to appreciate
our mums so I thought that I would share with you my ideas for Mother’s Day
gifts:
-Something that is
personal and could mean something more to your mum is a framed photo of the two
of you together, this shows that you love to be around her, that’s what I think
anyway and I think this is especially nice if like me you don’t like being in
photographs, to make it more special it could be a photo of you younger.
-So we all want to
smell nice all the time so if you find a scent that you think may not suit you
but you think that could be perfect for someone else which I do all the time
because I give everyone scents so if you find a nice scent then why don’t you
give your mum a perfume.
-So although it’s
the most classic and predictable actually one of my favourite things to receive
are flowers and honestly if you hand pick some flowers (from a shop not the
ground) that shows that it is a lot more personal for you and also it means
that you will like the flowers too.
-Who doesn’t like
the magic of chocolate? So why don’t you give your mum what I think is one of
the best presents especially if you get a taste that your mum specifically
likes also chocolate is great if you have a limited fund to pay for the
present.
-Every holiday or
event you need to give a card either with a present or without, so if you want
to make an extra effort then I always find that a handmade card is a lot more sentimental
and that it shows that you care a lot more.
-So we all know
that I am a little obsessed with candles so if your mum is someone like me and cannot
get enough of any candle humanly possible I always find that this is a
full-proof present.
-This can be more
on the pricier side but you could also buy your mum jewellery, whether it’s
silver, gold, rose gold or anything else, jewellery is one of the prettiest accessories
available and if you know your mum well then you can find the perfect piece for
her.
-So something that
I definitely would suggest if you don’t have a lot of money to spend on your
mother but homemade vouchers to exchange for things such as hugs or doing
chores for your mum is such a heartfelt thing.
I hope that this helped you and that you
enjoyed it. If you enjoyed it then comment, share and follow the post. Let me
know of anything you would like me to talk about in another future post.
